Not much to report, really.. on Monday, I weighed in to find I had lost half a pound.. and by Thursday, I had gained the half pound back.. so I'm still at 235.5 lbs. Still a net loss of 5 lbs. Time to kick things into high gear! I WILL have some exciting numbers to report on Monday!
I've been drinking green lemonade almost every day... and starting to eat more salads. The dressing isn't raw.. I've discovered one of Michelle's favorites.. Annie's Goddess dressing.. my gosh, that stuff could make GRASS taste good. :) I might try to make the raw version and see how that turns out.

Weight loss has not been going so well. On Monday, I weighed in at 237.5 lbs. Still a 3 pound net loss, but NOT the downward direction I wanted to be moving in. So, I decided to increase my raw intake.
I ate mostly raw on Monday, but then had some leftover cooked broccoli and some cup a noodle soup for dinner. Tuesday and today, I was at least 90% raw. I'm aiming for 95% right now. The 5% so far has been: a few canned olives on my salad today, 4 corn taco shells, Annie's Goddess dressing. Nothing major. I've been eating salads and making recipes. I have some lemon and vanilla macaroons in the dehydrator right now. I made spicy walnut taco meat (that's what I put in the taco shells.. by itself, it tastes like walnuts.. but in a taco shell with salsa verde (also not raw) and some tomatoes.. delish!
Haven't felt really great.. perhaps I'm detoxing.. and the funny thing is.. I'm constipated. Definitely more fruit tomorrow.. I've been slacking off in that department.
Was really tempted to eat a cup of noodle soup when I saw my wife eating it.. but decided not to.. since tomorrow is Thursday.. weigh-in day.. and I want to see if I've made any progress.

Just a quick update.. weigh-in day. I was hoping for a loss of a pound, or maybe a pound and a half. What I saw was
a complete shock. On Monday, I weighed in at 237.5 lbs. This morning, 233.0 lbs. A 4.5 lb. weight loss in 3 days?
That seems impossible. But it gives me hope, and the desire to continue mostly raw.
Also, my wife and I have been watching "The Biggest Loser".. which is really inspiring to me. These guys are dropping huge numbers of weight in one week's time.. like 16 pounds! I'm not sure if that's healthy... but still inspiring.. plus they're eating a mostly cooked diet. But, they're exercising frequently and vigorously. That's what I want to step up a notch.. or two.. the exercise.
Coincidentally, today is also the one month anniversary of my going raw. It's time for a measurements update:
Stomach: 47.5 inches (loss of 1.5 inches)
Waist: 43.5 inches (loss of 2.5 inches)
Upper arms: 15.5 inches (loss of .5 inch)
Thigh: 28 inches (loss of 1 inch)
Chest: 40 inches (loss of 2 inches)
Next measurements update will be March 21, which happens to be the day before our Bahamas cruise.
Weight: 233.0 lbs. Loss of 7.5 lbs since Jan. 21.
