Life is settling down and we're settling in to our new home. Work? Well work is...interesting. Some days it's very calm, quiet, smooth. Other days it feels like I can't keep up. Every day I learn more and more reasons why I think people suck. People suck. And some times it's overwhelming knowing that for every one positive step I make, there are a hundred shitty assholes ready to fill the gap in animal cruelty.

One of my colleagues went raw Monday. It's so weird to work in an all vegan environment where going raw is actually something people talk about on a daily basis. I'll be in the kitchen at work and people will be discussing their raw gourmet dinner or their salad and fruit diet. I've known for a while that I was gonna have an issue with eating well with all the unbelievably delicious vegan fare here in Hampton Roads. I'm trying to make some better choices, though definitely not all. I made a nice salad for lunch a few days ago, and have been eating apples, clementines and bananas more often. Nuts, seeds and raisins are often a snack I have at work, but typically before or after a meal with some type of veggie or blue corn chips.

We keep talking about joining a gym, but it'll be another few weeks to a month before we can make that financial commitment.

Not much to report. I'm so tired at night, I just wanna veg out and watch "Everybody Loves Raymond" and "The Office."
