Well, here it is...my update has taken me more than a month to make, because I've been in the process of a major life change.
I've accepted a position an animal-rights organization. Stephanie is, of course, moving with me and we're taking our four little dogs and our two adopted aquatic dwarf frogs.
We'll be living within 12 miles of the beach, which is a huge draw, since we are both water babies. The local restaurant scene is inundated with vegan options, so I'm REALLY looking forward to that. (I ate like a vegan queen the week I was out there interviewing.) I still have a long way to go to get myself closer to the raw life I used to live, but this is definitely a catalyst to get back there.
Here's the plan --- I start my new job on March 3, 2008. Over the next two weeks we'll be packing and loading... the week after that we'll be moving, unloading, unpacking and getting settled. Then the fourth week I go to work. Stephanie is taking her job with us to Virginia. She'll be working from home, which is great for her, as well as our animal companions!
We're both very excited about this new adventure!
