Wednesday. I am continuing to enjoy the raw cuisine. I am starting to want for lighter fare though. The burgers are delicious, but its becoming a bit heavy me. I have been having raw apple cobler (DELICIOUS) each weekend. It was so good this week that I made one yesterday. I posted a picture of it here. So easy to make, takes like 20 minutes at the most but probably less than that. The sauce is the longest part because you need to juice the oranges and then blend the juice with the raisins and dates. But the rest is very simple. I have not been exercising lately (that is not good) as I have gotten busy again with business (that is good). I have been also really enjoying what I now call the Raw Remnant fruit soup. Basically its a fruit salad drenched in the above mentioned raw sauce, but its out of this world for sure.  Also, I believe I have mastered the onion crackers (to my taste anyways). Although I think they may taste just as good without being dehydrated. They have a dry sort of texture when they are done in the food processor and I have to add water to them for the dehydrator. I am going to try them once with dehydration and see how it goes. It takes a full 36hrs for them to be ready otherwise. Today's fare was typical for this week....

Breakfast:
3 bowls of fruit salad. 2 onion crackers
Fruit Salad

Lunch:
raw pizza made with onion crackers (i used raw tomato sauce, raw cheese, avocado and raw coleslaw for toppings.....it was very good)...couple of slices of raw apple pie.

Tuesday. Today I decided to give raw chili a shot. I had some leftover tomato sauce and didn't want to waste it so I used it to make chili. It came out pretty good, I think I added too much salt but overall it wasn't bad. My wife loved it (which surprised me). The thing I really like is that it took maybe 10 minutes to put together, if that. The Raw diet and the food processor are wonderful together. My weight is 187lbs right now which is 7lbs higher than when I was on the juice fast. I don't know what that means but I am just making a note. I haven't run in about 2 weeks so I need to get back to my exercise for sure. Perhaps this week I can get a couple of runs in hopefully. Overall.....just cruising along on raw.

Breakfast:
Raw fruit soup. Slice of raw apple pie (apple pie is different from apple cobbler, my wife made it this mornnig and it was delicious).

Dinner/Lunch:
Bowl of raw chili with sliced cucumber and romaine leaf.

Tuesday. I have had such a raw feast today. I really enjoyed the cuisine. My wife has perfected raw spring rolls by just adding crushed sunflowers seeds to the recipe. What a difference it made! It was already good, but now its better. Also, she placed them in the dehydrator for a couple of minutes which caused them to not break so easily. She also has perfected the raw garlic sauce which I used with raw broccoli and bulgar wheat and as a dip for the spring rolls. It was really good. This morning was outrageous in that I had some fruit followed by some raw strawberry shortcake (a la storm & jinjee telifero) and raw apple cobber (a house favorite now). Let me say to all who read this......raw is the real deal. Give it a good chance and you will be very thankful you did. Take if from someone who has been raw now for 4 years (!), its well worth any adjustments you may have to make. Both in terms of health, well-being, spirituality and more. I weigh between 185-186lbs now and feel very good although I have not really exercised in a couple of weeks. 4 years ago, I think I was around 225lbs. The 40lb difference does not begin to tell the story. Of course, I give all praise to my Heavenly Father as I believe He gave mankind this diet and man has strayed from it. God makes things simple and man makes things complicated.

Breakfast:
Sliced Watermelon, one Banana, cluster of grapes, spoonful of strawberry shortcake, to small slices of apple cobler.

Lunch/dinner:
Plate of bulgar wheat with soaked raw broccoli smothered in raw garlic sauce. Six raw spring rolls dipped in raw garlic sauce.

Wednesday. For the last two days I have had the most tremendous detox. It came suddenly (as it usually does), sore throat, headache and runny nose. Not bad enough to knock me off my feet, but just errating. I still had a good appetite and ate well yesterday and today. I ate alot of watermelon yesterday and today as it seems to me its perfect for getting enough water and eating well. I think between the two days I ate a whole one. I feel it fading away now so I am glad its passing as quickly as it came. Todays fare was:

Breakfast:
Large bowl of chopped watermelon. 16oz of OJ

Dinner:
two leftover carrot crackers with raw tuna. 3 sticks of celery with raw tuna. Plate of grapes.
