Sunday. Very beautiful spring day today. I was even able to get out and exercise alittle. The raw cuisine was outstanding. Lately the only thing that I have craved that is cooked is popcorn. That's probably because my children have been eating alot of it lately. I may have some on my upcoming birthday .....(smile). Other than that, everything is going very well. My weight is still between 185-188lbs. I still feel fantastic physically. I am having financial challenges (who isn't), but that is life. Perfect health is worth more than all the money in the world (I say that without exaggeration). The mangos are starting to be good, I am hoping this year will bring a bumper crop of very sweet ones. Today's fare was:

Breakfast:
3 bananas, one mango and several helpings of raw strawberry shortcake (on the money).

Dinner:
Raw Mock Tuna on cucumber slices, 12 raw spring rolls (delicious).

Exercise:
4 mile walk, hour of basketball.

Tuesday. I had a terrific Memorial Day weekend. Its one of the two weekends of the year that I really look forward to (the other being Thanksgiving). Not only pausing to remember those who fought for our freedom, but just a weekend to relax and take it easy, which is what I did. I broke my 100% raw streak of sorts this past week by having popcorn. I am not at all concerned, worried or disappointed. But I just wanted to report it. Some (including my wife) don't count the soaked bulgar as raw but I do. I played some full court basketball with a client and some of his buddies last week. I felt great and lacked no wind. I guess I shouldn't be surprised because the raw diet really does energize and fortify the body. In fact, I played last Wednesday night from about 6:30pm to 9:30pm. I ran pretty hard and then immediately drove 10 hours from Connecticut to southern Virginia. I then took my teenage son out on sunday and played some more. I felt even stronger because I had played a couple of days before (too bad for my son.....smile). Now that I have been somewhat active I am planning to begin my running again. The thing that is so much different nowadays is the time it will take to build up my wind. Which is practically no time at all. Prior to being raw, that was never the case. It always took several weeks, if not months, to build up sufficient lung capacity to get a descent run or jog in. My lungs have always been one of my genetic weak points. Now, I can go out tomorrow and jog 4 miles not having done it in about 2 months. I have said it before and I will say it again.......RAW IS THE REAL DEAL. I will turn 47 this week and I am giving the God of Heaven great thanks for preserving me and blessing me with such health as many in the world are suffering greatly. Today I wanted to fast. I usually fast on Mondays, but since this was a holiday weekend I didn't (btw, we had a wonderful picnic on Monday). I started the day in fast mode, but changed my mind at about 1pm and ended up eating at about 3pm. Here is the menu:

Dinner:
bowl of bulgar wheat, 1 avocados, bowl of chopped broccoli and tomatoes seasoned with braggs and other spices. Plate of green salad with one avocado.

Later:
32oz of lemonade.
