Amazing Apple Pie



Crust
1/4 cup pecans
1/4 cup walnuts
5 medjool dates-pitted
mix in food processor- spread thin - if you like thick crust {I do} double this- I put this in a pie tin

Filling
3 apples chopped in processor
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp juice from a lemon

Spread mix over crust. Chop 3/4 cup pecans spread around circumference of pie. This is quick and easy. I like to let it sit in fridge for 30 minutes - but it can be served right away.

Variations
I added sliced bananas on top of apples then put nuts on. To make it look festive I also put some mango slices, and a few berries for color.
